Personal Statement
The game of softball is teaching me so much about life. I'm learning how to have a positive mindset, self-confidence, respect for others and respect for myself. It's teaching me how to face challenges, overcome adversities, and handle the successes and failures. It has shown me how to take risks, have strong work ethics, and develop leadership skills in all aspects of my life. Lastly, I love that it teaches me that there is always a "next." There will always be another at bat or ground ball and that it is okay to move on from a mistake and focus on the "next" opportunity as so in life. It would be an honor and privilege to play softball at the collegiate level and continue to have the diamond be my classroom.
