Personal Statement

I may not be able to control all aspects of my life, but I am able to control how I react to everything that happens to me.  I carry this mentality both on and off the field. I strive to be the best person I can be by being a supportive teammate, impact player, and to push myself to my limits.  I would love nothing more than to play softball, a sport I love, at the collegiate level while receiving a great education so I can eventually give back to the softball community and the people who have supported me and my dreams.
I have been playing softball since I was 8 years old. My dream is to play college softball while earning my degree. Softball has already shown me many life lessons at such a young age and I hope to one day teach these lessons to other young girls.
